Time to expand your swing skills – with blues dancing! If you have started your lindy hop journey and want to venture into other swing dance styles, blues is the best place to go to discover a whole new world of creativity and relaxation within swing. This workshop will offer two levels, so hopefully there will be something to fit the tastes of any lindyhopper who is in the early stages of their journey into the blues dancing world.

You do not have to register with a partner – we will be rotating partners in class.

Location: Zentrum Zeitlos, Hungener Straße 5, 60389, Frankfurt.

Content: 1.5 hr classes (2 level options) + evening blues social

15.15 – 16.45 : Introduction to Blues
This class is for lindyhoppers who want to add blues dancing to their social dancing options. We expect a moderate lindyhop ability (e.g. can swing out at 160 bpm), so class will progress through material quickly. As we will cover quite a lot of blues dance concepts/options, if you’ve already done one or two blues classes, this is also for you.

17.00 – 18.30 : Blues Expansion
This class is for people who can already dance to a blues song comfortably, but still feel quite limited in their options. The course will cover a variety of movement and creativity options, and bring more focus to a range of blues music styles.

20.00 – 22.00 : Social dancing to DJ tunes
•Any guest DJs welcome, or potential DJs wanting to have a try. Venue is private, so byo snacks and drinks. Glasses/sink/fridge available for use.
•Social only entry: 5,-€ (Social is free for class participants). Pay in cash on arrival.
